MetService attends the AIANZ (Aviation Industry Association NZ) conference,
This week, MetService attended the AIANZ (Aviation Industry Association NZ) conference, at Tākina Events Centre in Wellington.
This premier aviation gathering brought together major industry players and a diverse range of operators, and was a hub of innovation, collaboration, and forward-thinking discussion.
The MetService team made a strong contribution, demonstrating our impressive hardware capabilities and key aviation products, including:
🛫An Automated Weather Observation System - built specifically for the event by our MDS (Met Data Services) team, this drew plenty of attention to MetService’s exhibition stand and was an excellent conversation starter.
🛫PreFlight – developed in collaboration with Aeropath, Preflight is our one-stop platform delivering safety-critical weather and aeronautical information to pilots throughout NZ.
🛫Insights Dashboards – delivered through the MetService Insights platform, our customisable dashboards display tailored weather widgets, including airport threat matrices, 1-minute data widgets, and lightning and radar widgets.
James Vernon presented on behalf of MetService at the UAVNZ symposium session, on “Managing Environmental Risks for UAS Operations”, pointing drone operators to our products and services. Drawing strong audience interest, James will be busy onboarding new users and trialists in the coming days!
The conference was a fantastic opportunity to connect with our customers and stakeholders. The team engaged in meaningful conversations around product development, infrastructure, regulation, aviation forecasting and emerging technologies within the industry. ✈️
A big thanks to James Vernon, Peter Lowe, Amy Dreverman and Nicole Ranger for representing MetService, and to everyone else who put in work behind the scenes to make the event such a success!
