MetService has produced a collection of text books titled Meteorology for Pilots, tailored to meet the needs of aviation students at various licensing levels:

About the author:

Greg Reeve is a meteorologist with 44 years meteorological experience – most of it specialising in aviation meteorology. For the past 25 years, he has been the sole meteorology instructor at RNZAF Base Ohakea. Greg has given many talks to aviation groups over the years, a number of them assisting the CAA with AVKIWI promotions etc. These books are the culmination of a 7-year project to improve the understanding of aviation meteorology within the New Zealand aviation community.
