Another trusted way to receive MetService Severe Weather Warnings!

We're pleased to see MetService Severe Weather Warnings now available through the Govt.nz app created by Government Digital Delivery Agency (GDDA), helping ensure critical weather information reaches even more New Zealanders when it matters most.

Severe weather information is most effective when it's available through multiple trusted channels. The inclusion of our warnings alongside information from agencies such as the National Emergency Management Agency (NZ) provides another way for people to receive important alerts and warnings, helping them prepare and make informed decisions.

The Govt.nz app complements our existing warning channels, including the MetService weather app, metservice.com, and other official sources such as NEMA Emergency Mobile Alerts.

At MetService, our focus remains on making easy connections to weather intelligence, so we are all ready for any weather, and we're pleased to see our warnings amplified through another reputable and widely accessible channel.
