In this disclaimer, 'Your Weather' means all pages displaying data and labelled Your Weather on this website, http://www.metservice.com.

Your Weather displays third-party data sourced from the WOW System, a system that enables anyone to publicly share data and information, which is owned and controlled by the United Kingdom Met Office. For the WOW System’s terms of use, information about how contributors’ personal information will be dealt with by the Met Office, and other important matters, go to http://www.metoffice.gov.uk/about-us/legal.

The WOW System is not a source of official weather data and information for New Zealand. Although MetService is involved in the dissemination of data from the WOW System in New Zealand, MetService’s involvement is limited. MetService may not see and does not rely upon or otherwise use data and material shared via the WOW System. As such you should not place any reliance upon such data or material for any reason.

Your Weather displays a specific set of automatic weather station data (labelled ‘third-party weather stations’) obtained from the WOW System – all other information provided by contributors to the WOW System is only available for viewing through the WOW System. Your Weather also displays MetService’s official New Zealand weather data and other information sourced by MetService. Official forecasts and warnings are provided elsewhere on www.metservice.com.

MetService does not, expressly or impliedly, make any claim or representation, or give any warranty (including as to accuracy, reliability, currency, completeness or fitness for any purpose), in relation to any data shared via the WOW System on Your Weather. Data sourced from the WOW System may not be viewed, and is not quality checked or approved, by MetService. It may not be accurate, reliable, current or complete, and is subject to change without notice.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MetService excludes (and by using Your Weather you accept) all liability for any loss, damage, cost, expense and any other consequence arising directly or indirectly from or connected with your use of Your Weather and any data or material available from it.
